Chaplain

The Freeway has an in-house Chaplain who is available by appointment or you can just drop in the Freeway to see if she is there at that time. Christine Johnston is an ordained clergy with The Salvation Army with 15 years of pastoral experience, serving  in both BC and Ontario. She is now excited to join the team at The Freeway and hopes to see how God can use ordinary people in an extraodinary way! Christine is also available to officiate weddings,baby and child dedications,  funerals and memorials. 

Please also feel free to speak to our staff about any needs or concerns you may have. We are a team that wants to help!

 This is a small study group who meet to learn, discuss and share the simple truths of the Word of God. Beginning November 28 we will take a fresh look at the Advent season.

Early Morning Prayer

Fridays~ 8:30 -9:00 am

This new group meets each Friday morning at 8:30 am till 9:00 am. We come united before God to pray for those who are marginalized in our neighbourhood, our city and beyond. In doing this we are also uniting with others Salvation Army ministries from around the world who are also meeting together to pray just as we are. This group is open to both the seasoned and rookie pray-er, no experience required!

Please feel free to join in at this time even if it is for just a few moments before you start your day.
