Neighbourhood Networks
From the beginning of The Freeway’s existence, we have always valued spending time together and building deep, lasting friendships with each other. We have regularly had tons of house parties, get-togethers, weekly brunches, etc. over the years. A few years ago we started having barbecues every week all through the Spring, Summer, and Fall at various people’s houses. We still do that. They’re great.
In addition, we have valued living in close proximity to one another… most of the folks who “call The Freeway home” live in walking distance to others from The Freeway. Over the years, dozens of folks who want to get involved with The Freeway have packed up and “moved into the neighbourhbood.”
We currently have neighbourhood networks that meet weekly. What happens at neighbourhood networks? A meal, open space discussion, and simply sharing our lives with one another. If you are interested in finding out more about neighbourhood networks, drop us a line.
