Hello Pernell and the Freeway,

I have been with Shalem Mental Health working with Mark VanderVennen for over a year now. Much of my work has been towards the development of the volunteer capacity within West Hamilton WrapAround, to address the goals we had proposed in our World Vision grant utilizing wraparound as a model to address issues of poverty for young mothers living in the core of the city. The other portion of my work is to develop wraparound capacity within faith communities to address pastoral care and outreach work.

To that end, I would love to have a discussion around how I might work alongside your Ministry to develop volunteers to utilize this way of working with people, that we know works for those who humble themselves to ask for help, in other parts of the province and Canada. Please let me know if it is possible to get together. My office number is 905-528-0353.
