Renovation Of The Heart
The title for our current teaching series for the month of July, “Renovation of the Heart,” is based on the title (but not content) of a book written by Dallas Willard. This series will allow us to examine spiritual formation… and by spiritual formation, we mean the stuff that converges on the inside that makes you – you.
Four different aspects of spiritual formation will be examined: the heart (or gut) as guide, character building (or eliminating pollution), prayer as dialogue (us talking) & the need for story (God talking).

Renovation of the heart is a great topic. As most of us are just trying to get through the day we are all well aware of how we can wear the sting that makes us unhappy. While we sting, the other person is also stinging. Just pray to God and ask him to help through forgiveness. We do not have to forget, but we live so much better through forgiveness. I am counting on forgiveness — as I hope to reach my spot in Heaven someday because He is so gracious and has forgiven me and that He has shown the love that truly grows through mending and healing.
