Worship Gathering – “Cultured”

Last night (April 19, 2009) was week one of our microcosm series at The Freeway. Anjanette and the gang did a great job of leading us in musical worship (see/hear a short snippet here), Robin did a great job of communicating The Freeway’s ideas about connecting with culture (read some notes of his message here), and there was some really good discussion and community time.

    I thought it was very fitting that Robin talked about how “every square inch of this world belongs to God” and the same day, Matt T. hooked us up with the Beasley Community group to help clean the park. (There was a fair amount of trash and only one needle was found.) I consider myself the luckiest person in the world to be part of this community. ‘ love you guys.
